LOMA Care is committed to providing safe, respectful and high-quality disability and community services.
Our workers, managers, contractors and representatives are expected to act professionally and comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct.
Our commitments
When providing supports and services, we will:
- Respect each person’s rights, choices and independence
- Respect privacy and protect personal information
- Provide supports safely and competently, with care and skill
- Act with integrity, honesty and transparency
- Respond promptly to concerns that may affect the quality or safety of supports
- Take reasonable steps to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse
- Take reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct
- Charge fairly and provide clear information about fees and services
What you can expect from LOMA Care
People receiving LOMA Care services have the right to:
- Be treated with dignity and respect
- Feel safe and supported
- Make choices about their services
- Be involved in decisions
- Have their privacy protected
- Receive clear and accurate information
- Access an advocate or support person
- Provide feedback or make a complaint
- Raise concerns without being treated unfairly
Professional conduct
Everyone working for or representing LOMA Care must:
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Protect confidential information
- Respect each person’s culture, identity and communication needs
- Avoid discrimination, harassment and conflicts of interest
- Report unsafe, inappropriate or unlawful conduct
- Follow relevant laws, NDIS requirements and LOMA Care policies
