About Us

You deserve more

Navigating the NDIS is hard enough. Finding a provider you can genuinely trust, one that shows up, communicates clearly, and cares about your independence is a different challenge entirely.

The system wasn't designed to make this easy. People end up with whatever's available, fitting into a provider's model rather than the other way around. It doesn't have to be that way.

Built from the inside out

LOMA Care was founded by me, Amie Burns, in 2024. But the thinking behind it goes back much further.

I've spent 17 years working in the disability sector from frontline support to strategic leadership. I've seen what genuinely good care looks like. I've also seen what happens when process takes over from people, when communication breaks down, when someone who just needs a little help is made to feel like a burden.

That's not care. And it's not what you deserve.

LOMA Care exists because of everything I learned along the way. Not just what to do but what I'd never do.

I didn't choose the name by accident. Loma means peaceful, harmonious and tranquil. That's the feeling I want every participant to carry with them. A sense of calm. A sense that someone has got you.

We built this for you

Not for the system. Not for the paperwork. For you.

That belief shapes everything we do at LOMA Care. The way we match you with support workers, based on personality and preference, not just availability. The way we measure success, not by how much support you need, but by how little you need over time. The way we talk to you. No jargon, no runaround, just honest conversations.

We're a registered NDIS provider, proudly female-founded and led. Grounded in lived experience, built on compassion, and genuinely committed to equity in the NDIS space. It's the reason we show up every day.

The people behind your support

At LOMA Care, your support is only as good as the people delivering it. That's why we're intentional about who we bring onto our team and how we look after them.

Every support worker is trained, supervised and genuinely invested in the people they work with.
